DON’T PUT OFF UNTIL TOMORROW

Coming September 6th, 2024

“Não Deixe para Amanhã” (Don't Put Off Until Tomorrow) is the debut album of Brazilian Trombonist, Educator, Composer, and Arts Administrator, Felipe Brito. Using a modern jazz language, the project integrates Afro-Brazilian music genres such as samba, bossa nova, maracatu, and alujá. The album will be released in September 2024 by the New Your label Outside in Music, owned by the great jazz trombonist and UNT Professor Nick Finzer. Felipe’s original compositions reflect his life in Brazil and The United States. The team of musicians counts on Latin Grammy Award Winner sound engineer Adonias Junior, Latin Grammy Award Winner saxophonist Raphael Ferreira, Latin Grammy Award Winner pianist Fabio Leandro, and Latin Grammy Award Winner drummer Rodrigo Bras, together with Brazilian superstar Jackson Silva (bass). This album strongly marks the underrepresentation of Afro-Brazilian and LatinX musicians in The United States by being released in the US market by Brazilian musicians.
